Oh hey! So, I was scrolling through Facebook (as always) and I came across an ad for this KidKraft playhouse at Walmart that was like 50% off. Well, you know how there are some people that just can’t resist a good sale? Its me….im some people! I got it for $274. It arrived and my girls were so excited to put it together. Well I couldn’t lift the box so we had to empty it and carry each piece to the basement individually. I started to put it together and then I had this great idea…..THEY SHOULD BE NEIGHBORS! So, I “accidentally” bought a second one!
If you were wondering – YES, I absolutely put these together completely by myself. My husband supports my ridiculous ideas as long as they don’t involve him! Haha
So now we have these two adorable playhouses in our basement to play with! Except I wasn’t done….
If you know me at all you know I was going to paint the hell out of these! So now we have two adorably painted playhouses next to each other! Except I wasn’t done….
Could I really just leave them empty inside? Absolutely not! So here comes Christmas and I decided to complete the inside for their present!
My youngest is obsessed with ice cubes and water so she obviously needed a fridge and 100 fake ice cubes(thank you amazon).
The oldest always wants to play “bathroom” so you guessed it I turned hers into a bathroom. Complete with a vanity and makeup and hair dryer.
I distinctly remember the day the picket fence arrived from amazon. My husband wanted to know what in the world it was for….I replied “to go around the grass in the front yard of course”. His face said it all. He should have known I was going to be ridiculous with these. Go big or go home, right?! HA
Now just wait for the mural behind it and the big tree I have in mind! This is just the beginning!
